This plugin is great first and foremost. It would be great to have a buddypress option for this plugin do to the fact there is no route buddypress option. Working with your profile setting for current location,places traveled and future trips. So on the profile tab you have a travel map and the other tab travel list to input the data. Groups should have maps too. Hope you consider this even as a premium plugin. But with buddypress intergration it would be one of the better plugins. Thanks!!!

I am planning a single trip only, so it i enough for my proposals.
My two suggestions would only be:
1.- option to start map centered in current location (detected by date)
2.- option to choose color of lines between points
3.- yeah, mentioned already: when clicking on a point, redirect to entries with that location name, i.e: ?s="location_name"

It would be great if this could integrate with the profile section of buddypress. So instead of members populating the map on the backend in the admin section members could do it from a custom tab in the profile section and add their plans that way. The map should then be in the profile section as well. like gogobot.com

I would like to make 2 routes in 2 different colours in one map, but don't get it to work. Can someone help me with my my problem?

would it be possible to centre the map bay its last location? so it could show australia in the centre, if this would be the last location added, or europe if this was the last location. better than always show the americas in the centre, which is not my personal view of the world ;-)

I am having difficulty getting the google map to load on my site. the list is working beautifully but all that appears for the map is a grey box. I have tried the plugin in both Safari and Chrome.The box will change shape depending on what pixel size I choose for my map. I have tried disabling every plugin but nothing is responding. I apologize for this surely infuriatingly stupid question. Is there a guide for the most basic setup of this plugin? I pasted [travelmap-map height=400] into my page editor but all I get is a gray box. I also have no idea how to edit locations or any of that, I assume that happens once I see a map. Im using Firefox 16.0.2 on a Macbook Pro, with the latest version of Wordpress.

hey first i wanna say thanks for this great plugin but is it posible that the geo position makes some accurate calculations after googles api update?

if i enter a town the geo calculation gives not the exact position.

Would love to be able to choose between a default plain marker and the numbered markers that the plugin uses. Currently it only lets me choose whether or not to show markers at all.

This way, I'd be able to have a map that simply shows all the states or countries I've been to, not an ordered list of intended destinations.

I'd like to use Travelmap, but have the problem that it seems impossible to add locations. After clicking "save" nothing happens, when Saving/reopening Travelmap settings page to a new tab, nothing has been saved.

Using newly updated Wordpress 3.4.2, but problem was also with 3.3.1, Firefox 16.0.2.

Do you have any pointers for me how to look for the error cause ?
I also already tried deactivating all other plugins.

I just added about 20 new destionations, and at once the lines don't get drawed anymore. It only draws a line from the first to the last destination.
The markers are set properly.
I tried it out in different browsers, all with the same result.

although I filled in the arrival date of my visited positions, there is no special marker showing the current position. What am I doing wrong? I am using Wordpress 3.4.1.

Insterting the [travelmap-map] in the header doesn't work for now...
But maybe I need extra-code ?
